With Emily Hitz @emilyhitz

Saturday, January 19

10 AM - 2 PM

at The Storefront-- 325 21 St W, at Ave D

Get into weaving! Your new craft addiction; you will leave this workshop brimming with ideas of your next designs.

Learn the basics of weaving including plain weave, soumak, twining, and if there’s time we can weave some waves and triangles! We’ll also talk about troubleshooting tension and ways to finish your weave for display. You will also receive a detailed, illustrated instructional packet to help you learn during and after the workshop!

Weaving is a slow craft. Those who work slow-but-steady, or are less decisive, may want to purchase their loom (option below) for the freedom to finish at home. The weaving you make in this class will be approximately 7x9 inches, not including fringe.

All supplies provided, including a range of fibres in many colours. Zero experience needed.

Paypal account not required! Simply click ‘Pay with Paypal’ and then ‘Pay with Credit’ on the following page.
