Void Gallery and Craft School YXE are collaborating to hold our first summer camp for kids! Focused on physical products that students can take home, this camp will teach a variety of hands-on art and craft methods. Students will design and make (and get to take home):
- A felted mushroom or cactus
- A linocut stamp tea towel
- A punch needle mini-pillow
- Linocut stamp wrapping paper
- A collection of 2-colour risograph prints (one from each of their fellow campers)
- A woven wall hanging
- Risograph-printed greeting cards
- A screen printed tote bag
- A pizza or donut keychain
- A screen printed t-shirt

Each morning students will work on a textile project with Craft School and each afternoon they will work on a graphic art project with Void.

8:45 to 9:00 Arrive at Void (312 Avenue B South)
9:00 to 12:00 Learn and work on a Craft School YXE project
12:00 to 12:50 Lunch (children should bring a bag lunch)
12:50 to 3:50 Learn and work on a Void Gallery project4:00 to 4:15 Pick-up from Void

Suitable for children age 9 to 14. Void's studio is located on the second floor, accessible only by stairs.

Morning and afternoon snacks and juice will be provided (please advise us of any allergies or dietary preferences). Students are responsible for bringing their own bag lunch.

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another camper.
