This is the class to really learn weaving, with time between each session to practice and explore. Gift yourself the skills of fibre art creation. You will finish this this experience understanding how to build angles, curves and shapes, implement techniques for texture, set up and finish a weaving. We’ll also discuss different fibres and tools.

If you’ve taken Intro to Weaving, this class will refresh AND expand your skills. If you’ve never woven in your life, this class is designed for you, too— we start with the absolute basics.

Attendance of class 2 and 3 is optional/flexible. If you can’t make one of these dates, we can make alternate arrangements to support you with your piece.

May 3: The basics. Make a cute mini-weave/sampler to spark your creativity and get a feel for weaving.

May 10: Plan and begin your large piece

May 16: Finishing or continuing large pieces

This class has homework! Plan to spend a few hours each week weaving at home.

All materials provided. Frame looms can be returned or purchased on the last day of class (multiple sizes available for purchase).

Paypal account not required! Just click Pay with Paypal and then Pay with Debit or Credit Card on the following page.
